And hot on the heels of their new record, Out West, Coal Creek Boys, from Alberta, have just made another digital release available. The resulting compilation is called Outlaws, Bootleggers and Soldiers and is available from Bandcamp. Smith says the new songs (Southern Blood, Mean As Hell and Deadman Walking) are influenced by the styles of artists including Steve Earle, Alice In Chains and John Lee Hooker.
