The new album from Canadian artist Miriam Jones is out this week. Between Green & Gone is her first new record for five years and contains 10 tracks she recorded in England, where she is now based. Also available this week is the new album from Canadian band, Shred Kelly – and a very colorful video for one of the tracks from it. The five piece band from British Columbia shot the video for the title track of the new album, Sing To The Night, on the piste at Fernie Alpine Resort and it celebrates an annual themed day on the mountain, when skiers are encouraged to dress in retro-clothing. The album is the first since the band's 2012 record, In The Hills. This is the video for Sing To The Night:
Australian musician, Luke Sinclair, has hit the ground running in 2015. Luke is a member of several bands, all of whom are working on new material. Raised By Eagles, which Luke formed with three friends, and whose debut, eponymous album was one of the best records of 2013, have just released the first two songs from their new album, due later this year. The Double A Side single features the songs Jackie and Honey. You can stream both songs here.
And one of the other bands Luke is a member of, Bell St Delays, have recently released they have released a video for what will be one of the songs on their debut record. The band are a duo featuring Luke and his wife, Canadian Tracy McNeil – who is also a successful artist in her own right. Luke is also a member of Tracy's backing band, The Goodlife – who will be recording a new album with Tracy later this year. This is the video for the new song, Not This Time, by Bell St Delays:
